Holidays in the Village

Değerli Toplum Üyelerimiz,
Turkish Society of Canada, bu yıl 3 Aralık 2016 Cumartesi günü York Regional Police tarafından organize edilen ve Community Safety Village, Stouffville’de gerçekleştirilecek olan Holidays in the Village etkinliğine katılacaktır.
Çocuklara eğitim vermek amacı ile küçük bir mahalle olarak içinde küçük boyutlarda okulu, bankası, tren yolu geçidi, trafik lamba ve işaretleri, postanesi ile gerçek bir yerleşim yerinin bir kopyası olarak kurulmuş olan Community Safety Village içerisinde gerçekleştirilecek bu etkinlikte, Turkish Society of Canada mahallenin kırmızı renkli okulunu, geleneksel el işi eşyalar ile Türk evi olarak donatarak, ziyaretçilere kültürümüzü, el sanatımızı ve tarihimizi tanıtacaktır.
Farklı etnik grupların da yer alacağı ve York Region’ın çok kültürlülüğünün tanıtılacağı; yeni yıl dekoru, ışık ve eğlenceleriyle, yeni yıl kutlamalarının da yapılacağı bu etkinliğe, siz toplum üyelerimizi, aileniz ve çocuklarınızla bekliyoruz.

Etkinlikten elde edilen gelirin tamamı York Regional Police Holiday Heroes Food and Toy Drive’a bağışlanacaktır.
Dear Community Member,
Turkish Society of Canada is participating York Regional Police Holidays in the Village Event. This celebration will take place on Saturday, December 3rd, 2016 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Community Safety Village located at 3291 Stouffville Sideroad in Whitchurch-Stouffville.
The event is a fun filled afternoon celebrating the many cultures that contribute to the diversity of York Region. The Village will be fully decorated with lights and decorations. There will be a visit with Santa, festive crafts, hot chocolate and treats as well as multicultural entertainment.
Turkish Society of Canada will be decorating one of the houses as a traditional Turkish House reflecting our culture in the Community Safety Village.
Come and join us to celebrate the joy of the season during this diverse event!
