The Turkish Society of Canada and the entire Turkish community in the Greater Toronto Area are proud to celebrate International Children’s Day by organizing two outstanding consecutive events:

• International Children’s Day-Multicultural Dance and Art Festival, Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Nathan Phillips Square
• Special Olympics Athletes Fun Day, Thursday, May 5, 2016 at Ryerson University

We are asking for your financial support by making a donation or sponsoring our event. This is an excellent opportunity to make a lasting impact on the children of Toronto and their families. You will also get the chance to meet with hundreds of young Canadians and their parents at the event.

International Children’s Day-Multicultural Dance and Art Festival

International Children’s Day celebrations will be held at Nathan Phillips Square, Toronto, City Hall on Saturday April 16, 2016 with the expected participation of over 1000 guests (including children) from all parts of Toronto’s cultural mosaic, Members of Parliament, City Counselors and media. This main event will consist of presentations and several shows, folk dances and choruses performed by children and youth from different cultural backgrounds.

Special Olympics Athletes Fun Day with collaboration of Special Olympics Ontario

Special Olympics Athletes Fun Day is a special athletic event for school children and youth with intellectual disabilities. This event will be held at Ryerson University on Thursday May 05, 2016 and athletes will participate in basketball, soccer, bowling, curling, softball, floor hockey and races during the day. Program details and event information for both activities are attached.

For sponsorship eligibility, all contributions must be received by March 20, 2016.

You may send your sponsorship contributions by one of the three options below:

1. Online via PayPal:
   PayPal allows for online payments using most credit cards. Simply click here and select your sponsorship category, then “Add to cart” button and then “View Cart” to process the transaction.
2. Interac e-Transfer (email money):
   Using your bank’s web-banking portal, you can transfer money via email. Simply click on “Interac e-Transfer” button and follow the steps shown. After sending your e-money, please email to info@turkishcanada.org, and indicate your personal information. Please include the Interac E-Transfer secret question & answer without which we cannot receive the money transfer.
3. By mail:
   Fill out the sponsorship form, make your cheque payable to “Turkish Society of Canada”, and send it enclosed in a sealed envelope to:
