Esra Tokmakci

Esra is a founding member of the Turkish Society of Canada and served on its Board of Directors for four years. She also launched TELVE, the Society’s monthly online newsletter in 2007.

In addition to her involvement with the Turkish Society of Canada, Esra has history of community and professional volunteering. She was the first Chair of the Türkiye Pavilion at Mississauga’s Carrasauga Festival in 2006 and held volunteer roles with the PMI – Project Management Institute (Toronto Chapter) and WiRE – Women in Renewable Energy.

Esra, TSC’nin kurucu üyelerinden olup, dört yıl  Yönetim Kurulu’nda daha once de görev yapmıştır. Aynı zamanda, Topluluğun aylık çevrim içi bülteni TELVE’yi 2007 de hayata geçirmiştir.

TSC deki gonullu çalışmalarına ek olarak, Esra 2006 yılında Mississauga’daki Carrasauga Festivali’nde ilk kez Türkiye’ nin sorumlusu olarak görev yapmıştir; ayrica PMI – Project Management Institute (Toronto Şubesi) ve WiRE – Women in Renewable Energy bünyesinde gönüllü roller üstlenmiştir.
