Toronto’da Atamızı Saygı, Özlem ve Minnetle Andık 2025

Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin kurucusu, Büyük Önder Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’ün aramızdan ayrılışının 87. yıl dönümünde, 9 Kasım 2025 günü Toronto Metropolitan Üniversitesi’nde düzenlenen törende Ata’mızı özlem ve minnetle andık.

“Beyond Borders: Atatürk’s Global Vision and Today’s Youth” başlığıyla gerçekleştirilen panel ve forum programımız, Turkish Society of Canada Başkan Yardımcımız Pelin Soran’ın açılış konuşması ve saygı duruşu ile başladı.

T.C. Toronto Konsolosu Sn. Mert Sav’a, Ata’mızı Anma Töreni’ne değerli konuşmalarıyla katıldığı için en içten teşekkürlerimizi sunarız.

Toplumumuzun değerli akademisyenlerinden Sn. Prof. Dr. Feyzi Baban’a değerli katkıları ve ilham verici konuşması için, genç akademisyenimiz, program moderatörümüz Yazgülü Sezgin’e paylaştığı değerli fikirleri, başarılı ve bütünleştirici yönetimi için;

Panelistlerimiz Ece Yenigün, Markus Acar, Sean Özalpaşan, Ulaş Güler ve Yasemin Knott’a ilham verici paylaşımları için gönülden teşekkür ederiz.

Her biri bizlere, genç kuşakların Atatürk’ün evrensel vizyonunu nasıl ileriye taşıdığının en güzel kanıtını sundu.

Bu anlamlı programın gerçekleşmesinde bizlerle iş birliği yapan Assembly of Turkish American Associations (ATAA) ve Turkish Women’s League of America (TWLA)’ya, yetiştirdikleri ve destekledikleri başarılı gençler için tebrik ve teşekkürlerimizi sunuyoruz.

Programa destek veren başarılı öğrenci birliğimiz, Turkish Student Association in Canada’ya, gösterdikleri misafirperverlik ve katkılar için içten teşekkür ederiz.

Sanat ve müzikleriyle etkinliğimize anlam katan JADA Music Academy’ye, ortak duygularımızı bütünleştiren performansları için gönülden teşekkür ederiz.

Etkinliğimizin gerçekleşmesinde büyük emekleri bulunan “TMU Event Coordination” ekibine verdikleri destek ve iş birliği için;

On November 9, 2025, we came together at Toronto Metropolitan University to commemorate with profound respect and gratitude the 87th anniversary of the passing of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the Founder of the Republic of Türkiye and the Great Leader of our nation.

Under the theme “Beyond Borders: Atatürk’s Global Vision and Today’s Youth,” our panel and forum program commenced with opening remarks and a moment of silence led by Pelin Soran, Vice President of the Turkish Society of Canada.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Mert Sav, Consul of the Republic of Türkiye in Toronto, for his insightful and meaningful address during the Commemoration Ceremony.

We also wish to express our gratitude to Prof. Dr. Feyzi Baban for his inspiring reflections, and to our young academic and program moderator, Yazgülü Sezgin, for her thoughtful insights and exceptional leadership in guiding the discussion.

Special thanks are extended to our distinguished panelists — Ece Yenigün, Markus Acar, Sean Özalpaşan, Ulaş Güler, and Yasemin Knott — whose inspiring contributions exemplified how the new generation continues to advance Atatürk’s universal and timeless vision.
